First, power off and unplug the All-Weather 120V heat pump's air filter. Then, pull off the front cover. Release the clip and pull out the air filter. You can either vacuum the filter, or rinse it with distilled water or a bleach solution. If you choose to rinse the filter, you must use distilled water or a bleach solution. Never use plain tap water. To make the bleach solution, add one teaspoon of bleach to a gallon of water. Rinse the filter with the bleach solution and then let it air dry. Make sure the filter is completely dry before returning it to your unit. Return the clean filter to the front cover.
If you're replacing your air filter with a new one, make sure to remove the plastic wrapping first.
Reattach the front cover, then plug in and power on.
