Before getting started, make sure your Gradient is plugged in and powered on and that you have downloaded the Gradient app.
Open the Gradient app.
If you do not already have an account, follow the prompts to create one. If you have an existing account, sign in.
Tap the plus (+) sign in the upper-left corner of the app.
When the "Let's pair your device" screen appears, tap Continue. The app will begin searching for nearby Gradient units.
Select your Gradient
Once your unit is detected, it will appear in the app. Tap the Gradient unit you would like to connect.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password.
Name your Gradient and confirm your time zone
Give your unit a name, such as Living Room or Office, so it's easy to identify in the app.
Confirm your time zone to help keep your heating and cooling schedules accurate.
You're connected!
Your Gradient is now connected to Wi-Fi and ready to use. Once connected, you can use the Gradient app to remotely control your comfort from anywhere.
